Opossum Removal
You probably recognize the animal in this picture as a possum. Possums are best described as a large white/gray rat. They have a pink nose and fingers with a snakelike tail. Possums are a nocturnal species that normally breed in February. They’ve been known to have up to 15 babies at once! Possums are the largest marsupial in North America. This means that the mother possum has a pouch that her young live in until they strong enough to hang on to her.
Possums are omnivorous. They will eat just about anything.
Opossum Problems
- Possums will take shelter anywhere they feel safe from predators and the elements – they are commonly found in garages, crawlspaces, sheds, under decks, holes under foundations, window wells, etc.

- Transmit Diseases
- Chew duct work and insulation
- Bring smelly food/dead animals into your living space
- Their dens under foundations can lead to unwanted cracking
- Eat your domestic pet food
“Joe was great. Responded faster than any others on a weekend call. Worked around our
schedule. Humanely removed a large Racoon and her pups from our attic. Addressed all
our concerns and protected the roof from further invasion. A pleasure to work with.”
