Sometimes this flooding ruins farmland or timber farms resulting in thousands of dollars’ worth of damage. On top of flooding, beavers will cut both large and small trees for food or to add to their dam.
Beavers typically choose to live in colonies or pairs. They will raise their young for over a year before the young leave to go find their own home. Adult beavers can reach weights over 80 pounds. I was so thankful he could come out THAT NIGHT! He was so thorough in both inspecting my roof and attic. He found the entry point, set the traps and then carefully every inch of my attic. He must have been up there for 30 minutes,. And AMAZINGLY, he corralled the raccoon out to the trap outside my attic!! He is a miracle worker. That does NOT happen every time. He checked her out and determined she was probably pregnant and did not have babies up there too. He really knows his stuff. And did I mention he is just a very nice young man?
