Fox Removal

Both red and gray are common throughout Tennessee. Fox are mostly active at night and at sunrise/sunset, meaning they do most of their sleeping during the day. However, it is not uncommon to see fox during the day especially during the spring when they have their young. This is often a viewed as a sign that the fox may be sick, but more than likely it is hunting for food or sunning itself. Fox are typically in mating pairs all year long. The fox family will raise their young together and sometimes with the help of other fox families or previous litters. Fox typically live in burrows. These can be at the base of a tree, a hole in the ground, rock piles, culverts, and sometimes under a shed or deck. This can be a problem if the den is close to your home, or perhaps it is your home!

Fox typically feed on small rodents, such as voles, mice, moles, rats, squirrels, rabbits, snakes, and sometimes fruits. Fox have also been known to prey on cats and small dogs.

“Can I give more than 5 stars???? I highly highly recommend Halkers Wildlife Control! Joey is the best. I SAW a raccoon on my attic and was leaving town the next day. I was so thankful he could come out THAT NIGHT! He was so thorough in both inspecting my roof and attic. He found the entry point, set the traps and then carefully every inch of my attic. He must have been up there for 30 minutes,. And AMAZINGLY, he corralled the raccoon out to the trap outside my attic!! He is a miracle worker. That does NOT happen every time. He checked her out and determined she was probably pregnant and did not have babies up there too. He really knows his stuff. And did I mention he is just a very nice young man? He took her to a wildlife area and I was able to sleep that night,. I will only use him for any future needs and you should too.!”
